What is meant by a “title update”? I have just never heard this term used before.

They finally have a Versus Mode. Now I can practice against the CPUs that I choose to my heart's content.

@WarioInAHardees Just an alternate name for a patch basically. It's mostly used when it's a patch that's actually adding features instead of just fixing things.

Resolution upgrade is a nice one.

Praise jeezus! I've been wanting a proper Offline Versus mode for a while, and playing the upcoming CFC2 at the Dreamcast's internal resolution would have made me wince a bit. Glad they're doing this 😁

Which Cyclops theme is getting a remix? He’s got like 3 of them.

Nice updates but what I really want for a future update are these:

• True wide screen display (not stretching)
• Crossplay with other platform players
• Add in 4-Player Cross Fever Mode for Marvel vs. Capcom 1 please

now can i get the arranged version of. 3rd strike soundtrack that was used on the dreamcast? If Capcom can give us that update, that would be awesome.

It's really awesome they were willing and able to do this with all of the collections. If they can do this it would be crazy if they could get crossplay for all of the collections. Then this collection would just become a pure gold standard

Still no crossplay, and sub-bosses and bosses are still unplayable. It's meh of an update.

@LikelySatan VS Mode is good for (offline) practice, right? Right. So, why not make them playable or selectable opponents in VS Mode, at least?

If we're getting different versions, hopefully we'll get Children of the Atom 1.0 as well, which has significant gameplay and graphics differences.

So.. I Should Just Wait a While and Eventually Get the Complete on Cartridge Version with all of this Stuff Added on yes ?

Offline versus is a godsend.

@FormerGameAddict Capcom’s probably not re-releasing the cart with these somewhat minor updates. I can’t imagine the updates take up that much space either so I don’t see the problem unless you have zero internet.

Previously, Apocalypse and Onslaught were playable in consoles versions.
Crossplay is too much? I mean, even indie FGs developers can afford it. CAPCOM is far from being a small indie company. They already have FGs with rollback+crossplay, SF6 is one for sure. And, FGC now just demands every FG to have both rollback and crossplay. I don't care about it personally, since I'm playing FGs for single-player modes exclusively most of the time. I'm in minority here.
